DIGITIAL DIALOGUES ENHANCE PUBLIC OUTREACH

Not all that long ago, public meetings and surveys were about the only ways to garner public comment. Both are still used and can be effective in certain situations, but both are limiting in different ways. Arkansas Arts Council Honors Thoma Thoma With Governor’s Arts Award

Celebrating Thoma Thoma's Corporate Sponsorship of the Arts Award: Cliff Baker, Director of Wildwood Park for the Arts, Christina Littlejohn, Executive Director of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Society, Martin and Melissa Thoma and Governor Mike Beebe at the 20th annual Governor's Arts Awards ceremony.

In recognition of its long-term commitment to the arts community in central Arkansas, Thoma Thoma recently received the 2011 Corporate Sponsorship of the Arts Award at the 20th annual Governor’s Arts Awards ceremony. Coordinated by the Arkansas Arts Council, the Governor’s Arts Awards program recognizes individuals and corporations for their support of the arts in Arkansas.

“All of us in the arts community know what makes a unique and rich corporate partnership is the depth and diversity of the organization’s commitment,” says Cliff Baker, Director of Wildwood Park for the Arts. “The team at Thoma Thoma does everything it can to support the arts – from brand management and building marketing tools to board leadership and rolling up their sleeves to volunteer at festivals and special events. Wildwood is a living example of Thoma Thoma’s dedication to the community. Thoma Thoma has donated approximately a quarter million dollars in in-kind marketing services and time to Wildwood Park alone.”

UNVEILING A COMMUNITY BRAND

After months of engaging the Rogers community through workshops, surveys, and lots of research, Thoma helped unveil Rogers' new community brand this week. Now the fun begins as we begin to spread the word about a community Where Possible Lives.

"It was the people who participated in the branding meeting that did the hard work,” Martin Thoma said. “The people, from all walks of life that participated in the sessions, were engaged in the process. They defined Rogers. They came up with the vision of what Rogers represents.”
